One of the greatest share consistently creative of all jazz singers, Sheila Jordan has a comparatively small voice, but has done the greatest with her instrument. She is somebody of the few vocalists who have existence able to improvise logical lyrics (which often rhyme), she is a superb scat singer, and is also either emotional interpreter of ballads. Yet in ill-will of her talents, Jordan spent plenteous of the 1960s and '70s influencing at a conventional day job.
